Attendance Calculator
Figure out classes you can skip, or must attend, to stay above your required percentage.
Skip Smart, Not Blind
This tool does two things: shows your current attendance percentage, and works backward to tell you exactly how many classes you can afford to miss (or must attend) to stay above the threshold.
Common Thresholds
- 75% — Most Indian universities, minimum for exam eligibility
- 80% — Stricter engineering / medical colleges
- 85–90% — Professional courses, some scholarship conditions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate attendance percentage?
Divide classes attended by classes held, then multiply by 100. 45 out of 60 = 75%.
How many classes can I skip and stay at 75%?
It depends on how many have been held and how many are left. Our calculator tells you exactly — both the max you can miss and how many more you must attend.
What if my attendance is already below 75%?
We compute the number of straight classes you need to attend next to recover. If it exceeds remaining classes, 75% isn't reachable this term.
Does this work for any target percentage?
Yes — set the target to 60%, 80%, or any cutoff. Useful for varying college/university rules.
